Prosper Cheap Housing, Great for Families

True to its name, Prosper, Texas, is prospering and growing thanks to new businesses and construction of many affordable homes. The Collin County town is 30 miles north of Dallas, and many Prosper residents are professionals who commute to the city and its surrounding areas. This bedroom community is home to a large number of families, and many of the town’s amenities are geared toward kids, making Prosper cheap housing a good choice. The Prosper Community Library hosts many events and even offers homework help for children attending the town’s schools.

Athletics are also a big part of life in Prosper, and the Prosper Youth Sports Association supports participation in basketball, baseball, cheerleading, football, softball and volleyball. The Prosper Community Tennis Association and Prosper Area Soccer Organization also give kids a chance to be active and enjoy the outdoors. A 57-acre park near the high school has four full-size baseball fields, two softball fields and two full-size soccer fields.
